Standing But Not Operating is Back! The mission For those who are new, this is a site dedicated to bringing you pictures, history, and whatever else I can find about Idora Park, Chippewa Lake Park, and any other amusement parks that are standing but not operating. The big move I've moved the site to a different place withing Geocities where it won't be quite as restricted. I unfortunately have to pay for the service, but it is pretty cheap, and the features are nice. I like it so far. A few changes There have been some changes to the site. I'm not going to use frames as I had started to do on the old site. There were too many compatability issues with the many browsers people were using. I haven't changed the name of the site as some have suggested I should due to Idora no longer being a standing park. The site name stays even though Idora has been all but completely torn down. Last but not least, the pictures should load quicker. The number of pictures will be limited slightly compared to the old site as I eliminated some of the bad ones and redundant views.
