| The grounds of Chippewa lake still hold many of the buildings that one contributed to the great sucess of the park. The ballroom is probably the most famous of all. Many of the buildings at Chippewa lake park have been burnt to the ground most likely for someones enjoyment. There were signs of burn attempts in the great Starlight Ballroom. Among other buildings still standing are the Hamburger Factory, some consession stands, restrooms, the entrance gate, and other smaller house like offices. Unfortunately the great hotel fell victim to fire long before I ever visited. Below are links to photographs of those buildings in their current condition. |
